Broker Remarks
WINDWHISTLE is for sale by her fourth owners who purchased her in 2021 and has logged approaching 7000 nautical miles to many incredible destinations. She is hull 34 in the series and benefits from several key production improvements such as a 24V system (originals were 12V) and a Lugger wing engine (earlier hulls used Volvo or Yanmar). She has many popular factory options including a flybridge, a fiberglass stack for the main engine exhaust and a hydraulic crane for launching the tender.
The Nordhavn 47 has the capability and range to reliably and comfortably serve as a long-distance, ocean-crossing vessel. Nordhavn 47 sisterships have crossed the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and it is considered routine to travel well over 2,000miles nonstop from port to port. Her Lugger main engine is keel cooled with a dry stack exhaust; she also has a Northern Lights generator, SidePower electric bow and stern thrusters, and ABT Trac active fin stabilizers for a smoother ride.
The interior is teak with a satin finish, with all living spaces served by Marine Airr reverse cycle air conditioning. Her layout features a master stateroom aft with ensuite head and two cabins up front that share the forward head. The engine room has exceptional headroom and ample space to work around. The raised pilothouse with flybridge above provides two ideal stations for operating underway.
She comes with a full cruising inventory and significant, too-numerous-to-list spares required for regular or extraordinary servicing.
