106’ Camper & Nicholson Ketch

850,000

Built 1933 by Camper & Nicholson after designs by late Charles Nicholson in a steel composite construction (wooden skin & backbone on steel beams, frames & stringers). All teak wood planking with bronze fastenings, teak superstructure. English oak backbone.

First major refit carried out in 1985/86 when she was totally stripped down to bare frames and rebuilt from the keel up. All new accommodation, wiring, plumbing, tanks, etc . Another major refit in 1998 has seen the vessel’s decks renewed down to the beams with 1.25” teak laid on 1” best marine ply.

A new deck saloon and wheel box were added, with additional framing & stringers added to beef up the vessel’s structure. Windlass, chain, steering gear and various nav aids renewed, new stainless steel water tanks.

During 2013/14 another major refit has seen a new engine fitted, along with an overhaul of the engine room and peripherals. A permanent crew lead by a truly able captain of last 30 years is overseeing her permanent maintenance & upgrade to the highest of standards.

Absolutely pristine condition, a true classic gem available for the connoisseurs.
Must be seen to be appreciated.
